A group of bicyclists rallied through downtown Louisville Tuesday morning with a faux coffin in tow. It's an effort to call for felony charges to be filed against the driver who hit and killed a bicyclist on the Second Street Bridge. They went to the commonwealth attorney’s office, chief of police office, and the mayor's office. They say they got a positive response from all, including the commonwealth attorney, who would bring any possible charges. “Their role at this point is simply to wait until police have finished their investigation,” said Jackie Green of Bike Couriers Bike Shop. “That investigation is ongoing, and my understanding is that it’s being pursued very thoroughly, and we, with the rest of the community, await justice.” On Monday night, city officials met with members of the Kentucky Highway Transportation Cabinet about adding signage to the bridge.
